WM Is Excited.

November 29, 2007

I just ordered a sewing machine. This one: http://www.amazon.com/Brother-machine-LS-2125i-Automatic-buttonholer/dp/B000EOX28E/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1196371258&sr=1-5

I’m so excited :ninja: I can’t wait until it arrives…then I can start learning to sew. Hehe. It’s supposed to get here sometime before December 24. I got free shipping. I thought that since I added a sewing machine to my Christmas list so late, compared to when my parents usually shop, the chances of getting one for Christmas were slim. So I asked Mom about it, and I was right, so…I’m excited.

I’m reading Red by Ted Dekker more slowly than I read Black – not because it’s less exciting, but because I want to draw it out a bit more, especially since I don’t have White yet. Then I am going to read Showdown, by the same author, which I found one day for three or four dollars in Sam’s Club, and then I am going to try to get my hands on Saint, which is actually the reason I started reading these books in the first place. I picked Saint up in Wal-Mart one day while waiting for my mother to finish shopping, read the back and the inside slip, and thought, This reminds me of the Bourne movies… So I started reading it, and indeed, it sounds very much like them, which excited me tremendously because I like those movies except for all the cussing (the reason I don’t watch them much), and because I like them, I wanted to read the books, but I flipped through one in a store one day and decided against it, after viewing half a dozen accounts of God’s name being taken in vain, and maybe a cuss word or two, I don’t remember. Those are things I’d rather not have in my head. But Ted Dekker is a Christian author! Hence the excitement.

So…I’m excited about the sewing machine. =-D Very excited.

God bless you beyond what your mind can contain.

  1. Yippee! *pom* It’s great that you have a desire to sew. Once you get going and the sewing bug bites you, you’ll soon realize that the possibilities are endless as to what you can do and make. But here’s a tip: start out with something easy, but that you want to make. Go to walmart and find some easy patterns that intrigue you. It’s so fun to hunt for stuff to sew! :o )
