Bah Humbug

November 11, 2007

I went to the park today and got grass all over the bottom of my new cloak. For shame, Warrior Maiden! So I’m swiping it off between things. Remind me not to do that again.

The mini moot yesterday was great fun =-D I really enjoyed it.

I’m 2k words behind my own schedule. I have 20,000 and something words, and I want to be at 22k before the day ends.

I’m tired and hungry, and don’t feel like writing more, so,

Have an amazing rest of your life.

Day 8

November 8, 2007

Eight is great! And that is why all of the elements on the periodic table wish they were noble gases. But that’s beside the point.

It is 18:11 here and I am pushing toward 16,000 words. I have 105 that need to be written for me to reach that goal. I procrastinated horribly and am not proud of that. I wasted too much time looking for pictures online to use for my novel characters because I want to make a new desktop background with them :6:

William Moseley looks like a girl when his hair is long.

*coughcough* But uh, I believe I can make my goal tonight.

The Clean Place Georgia Mini Moot II (the CPGMM II) is two days away! :pom: I am so excited about seeing the Georgia girls I met last time (Nimelen and the Ferns) and Crimson Phoenix and Legossi again, and I’ll be meeting Lamb of God.

The window is open and the crickets are chirping and I am tired.

16,000 words, here I come!

God bless you and your writing amazingly.

NaNoWriMo: Day Seven

November 7, 2007

A week has passed since the beginning of the adventure and this writer is at 13,504 words. I am hoping to reach at least 14,000 words before the day ends – or rather, before I am torn from my laptop to go babysit, which will happen at 18:20.

I am enjoying the story so far, and the characters (you can hardly enjoy one without enjoying the other, after all. Well, it is possible, but I do not feel like typing out the complications right now, so the matter will have to rest). I have four of the characters from my SuNoWriMo, possibly five but I have not figured out if that one is dead or alive, plus a new one – Hayden. He’s agnostic, so Gabriel gets the role-eyes from him all the time when Gabriel talks about Christian things, which he naturally does quite frequently. Hey, it’s a major part of him [Gabe]. Which is wonderful. I learn new things from my characters sometimes “:p”

In other news, I am super looking forward to the Clean Place Georgia Mini Moot II on Saturday. Legossi is coming and will be bringing the cloak that I asked her to make for me. :pom:

I would say that word that means goodbye in French, but I do not know the spelling. So, my friends and random strangers,

Namarie without the accent marks (that is one downside of this laptop, but I like it very much anyway).

P. S. Have an amazing, blessed, splendiferous day and shockingly productive writing time.

Hola

November 5, 2007

I only have time for a quick entry because I really need to write, but I’m at 9,252 words. I managed to get in a hundred here and a few hundred there at the youth camp, early in the morning and late at night (or REALLY early in the morning, depending on which way you want to look at it and which night it was :6:).

The youth camp, by the way, was awesome, but I tell you more about it later. For now,

Blessed writings.

Phew

November 1, 2007

3,126. That is my current word count. My goal is at least 2,000 words a day. I won’t have a lot of time for writing over the weekend because of my church’s youth camp thing, but I’m taking my laptop, so maybe I can wake up early and get some writing in. We’ll have some free time, too, so hopefully I’ll have other opportunities to write while I’m there. I am very excited about the youth camp, though…God always moves amazingly. This will be the third one that I have gone to.

So far, Prelude is going pretty well. The first part is taking more words than I thought it would, which is good. Battles often take longer than I expect them to. And this one has had two parts – the cannonballs of the two ships, and then the hand-to-hand combat.

I’m so silly today. But I digress.

Have an amazing, blessed, splendiferous, productive month. May the words flow freely and have meaning!
