The End…

April 28, 2008

…of taking a picture every day to post on my blog. Because of time. It’s not very high on my list of priorities and comes below God, family, school, writing, sewing, researching independent Christian film-making, etc. I know, it only takes two seconds to take a picture and a few minutes to put it on my blog, but that’s a few minutes I could be doing other things.

Anyways, have an amazing rest of your life.

This is tomorrow’s photo of the photo I took Friday and posted a moment ago and yesterday’s photo of today. :D Some friends and I went to a lake beside a bunch of woods with paths through them.

I bought a new notebook at Wal-Mart because I’m almost to the end of the one I currently use to write poetry and thoughts in. Here’s a picture:

When You Get Married…, Exercising, and School

April 24, 2008

I’ve noticed something. :p Some people who normally dress modestly seem to abandon that on their wedding day for low necks and bare shoulders. As a bride, you should be a picture of purity. This doesn’t mean you have to wear a long-sleeved, turtle-necked wedding dress! You can still look beautiful and elegant while, as the center of attention, not causing anyone to stumble, who certainly wouldn’t want to as you’re walking to the alter to meet your husband. You don’t want them to have to look away to protect their thoughts and show you respect.

Anyways, my older sister and I got back a short while ago from exercising. We did intervals of walking a minute, and then jogging for thirty seconds, and did a mile in ten minutes. My long-term goal is three miles in fifteen minutes, plucked from a certain book (Saint, by Ted Dekker, if you must know). At the end of the mile I felt like I was going to pass out and/or throw up, but I didn’t. I went home and drank a little Death in a Can (a.k.a. soda).

Ah! My last chemistry class was yesterday. Now I need to finish my algebra book, history books, and the level 1 French computer program before the next school year starts, while taking two weeks off in June to go to Colorado for the Clean Place moot. I’m thinking of doing lots and lots of French and reading some history every day until I finish that, and then focusing on math and reading some history every day until I’m done. Oh, and I’m planning to write another in July for Summer Novel Writing Month. So long to reading fiction for a while.

I should go do French soon.

God bless you!

We’re having tofu and vegetable stirfry for dinner. Yes, it’s good. Here’s a picture of the mushrooms in their package:

We went to art class today. My drawing of Prince Caspian is coming along nicely.

Have an amazing rest of your life!
