I have pretty good intuition and usually make up my mind quite quickly as to whether I should trust someone or not. This enables me to make friends quite quickly—a very important skill to learn as a missionary kid! However, I’d be the first to admit that I am not infallible. I have suffered some devastating betrayals, both as a teenager and as an adult. It’s still worth it though. I have a worldwide network of dear friends who have enriched my life immeasurably.
